Adding a new source in Saasuma means making files from your private or work accounts searchable and accessible in one place. Having your Gmail account connected to Saasuma can have a lot of advantages. Here’s how to do it…
The first thing you should do is to go to: Add a new source in the top right corner.
Choose the Gmail in the popup:
In order to connect and start using a Gmail account through the IMAP, there are a few simple steps that need to be completed. The first screen will ask you to confirm that you’ve enabled IMAP for your account. Please note that you should enable IMAP for the account that you would like to connect to Saasuma afterward.
- The first thing to do is to give access to Less Secure Apps in your Google Account. Please note that by giving this access, the security of your documents and files will not be affected. IMAP is using this approach in order to make sure that you will be able to receive and send emails using third-party services, such as Saasuma.

2. If you enabled this access for the first time, you might get an email from Google, in which they require you to confirm that you were the one who allowed the access.
3. The next step to do this will be to enable IMAP forwarding for your Gmail account. Use this link to do it.
After you successfully enabled IMAP and gave access to less secure apps, you can continue to the second screen:
